Fénix Academy is a private school with a language teaching license registered with the Spanish Government and with the Commercial Register of EUROPALINK EDUCACION S.L. The head office is located at: C. de Cicerón 8, Tetuán, 28020 Madrid, with tax certificate number (CIF) B-72512155.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND JURISDICTION
AGREEMENT

1. A personalized fénix academy certificate of attendance and achievement will be issued in accordance with the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference.

2. The certificate will contain the name of the course taken, course level, and number of hours completed. The name of the school in which the class(es) were given, dates of enrollment and level achieved will also be included.

3. The certificate will only be issued to students who attend at least 85% of their classes and is not valid as an official document in accordance with the current legislation regulating non-formal education.

Change the course:
1. All students wishing to cancel their course (lessons and/or accommodation) before the start of the program should notify Fénix Academy's headquarters in Madrid by e-mail at info@fenixlenguas,com or by registered mail or in writing.

2. All private lesson(1V1; 1V2 ;1V3) plans will be finalized prior to the start of the lesson, if a temporary cancellation is needed, the student should notify and confirm with staff in the class group at least 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson, if the student fails to notify of the cancellation with a minimum of 24 hours notice, the tuition will be used as normal for that session. Prior to the Program Completion Date, any student can request to suspend the Program one time , (Course validity: up to 18 months from the start of the course

3. Group class cancellation policy: If you are unable to attend a class session for personal reasons, the class time will be deducted normally. If you are unable to attend a class for a long period of time, you need to formally submit a cancellation request in writing by sending an email to info@fenixlenguas.com. There is only one opportunity to cancel a class for each session (counting from the first day of the course, and the maximum validity period of the course is 12 months).


Refund Policy:

1. Personal reasons: The school must receive such requests no later than 20 working days before the start of the course and/or accommodation commencement date, otherwise the refund does not apply.Please note: Refunds take approximately 6 months from the date requested. For courses of 12 weeks and less than 12 weeks duration, an Administration Fee of 25% of the total amount will be deducted from all refunds given. For courses of more than 12 weeks duration an Administration Fee of 350€ will be deducted from all refunds given.


2. Unforeseen circumstances: In cases where students are not able to travel to Spain due to an official travel ban between their country and Spain, related to COVID-19 or any event outside of the company's and student's control (force majeure) the students may request to postpone the course without any extra charge. Students may postpone their course as many times as may be necessary, for the duration of two years; by informing the Business Development Executive at least 1 week before the planned start date of your course.If students do not know the new start date due to a force majeure event, a credit note for the same amount paid as the original course will be issued for use at a future date. The credit note can also be transferred one time only to any other person if students so wish.

In compliance with Spanish Law 15/1999, of December 13, regarding the protection of personal data, Fénix Academy would like to inform you that your personal information will be stored in a database (for which EUROPALINK EDUCACION S.L. is liable and responsible), and used solely for the commercial and operational purposes of the company. By accepting these general conditions, you consent to the use of your personal information for the above stated purposes. You have the right to request that we inform you of your right to access, correct or cancel such information within the established terms of the prevailing legislation, by writing to the address: C. de Cicerón, 8, Tetuán, 28020 Madrid
Any dispute relating to the programs will be resolved by the courts under applicable law. This excludes any other form of dispute resolution (administrative bodies, arbitration, etc.). Any conflict that may arise between the parties in regards to the interpretation, completion, and execution of this contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of the judges and courts of Madrid.
Upon signing the registration form or paying the program fees, the student accepts all of the conditions described above. If, under any circumstances, uncontrollable by Fénix Academy, accommodation prices increase, Fénix Academy will notify the student ahead of said changes. This price supersedes the previously existing price and is valid from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 for all programs taking place between these two dates. Fénix Academy is not responsible for typographical errors and/or misprints contained in this price. Updated in October 2023 and subject to change.
